I am having breakfast on Sunday morning after buying choysam from Bukit Cina pasar. This old coffee shop nyonya laksa, mee rebus, tomyam noodle, mihun kuih and wan tan mee. The coffee brewed by this shop is nice.

Teo Chew Bak Kut Teh

Located on Jalan Melaka Raya 4, Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka, this shop is not only famous with the locals but also a go-after restaurant by visitors from other States of Malaysia. Many Singaporeans also hunt for this restaurant. Three hotels are next to this restaurant and they are LA Boss, Iris and Bayu View. This restaurant uses iPad to take orders.

Ujong Pasir Nasi Lemak

Opposite of the road to Portuguese Settlement on the traffic light junction, you will find the kopitiam at a corner. Take the road beside the kopitiam and drive about 100 feet to see the Ujong Pasir Nasi Lemak in front of you.

SinChoiWah Restaurant

Restaurant Choice Wah was founded in 1982 by the Lai's Family and open for business as a small stall in Jinjang.  Soon after in 1983 from a small stall, the restaurant moved to a shop lot and expand the business named Choice Wah Restaurant.  The proprietor who likes to cook, likes to share with his guests good dishes. Providing good service with a fair price is the restaurant's motto. In 1989, the first Choi Wah Restaurant opened in Kepong Baru and began to host marriage banquet, communities activities dining and families dinner. In 1992, the Bandar Sri Damansara restaurant opened. In 2002, the restaurant rented a cinema hall in Jinjang and celebrated the 20th anniversary. In 2009, the restaurant, can accommodate up to 400 seats after renovation. Today, the restaurant can accommodate 3,000 pax on its 3rd floor at one time. The food is great.

栖云楼PJ碳炒福建面 Bukit Beruang Melaka PJ Hokkien Mee

We wanted to get porridge for dinner last night at a stall in the Spices Garden but it was closed. This porridge stall shifted from the riverside hawker center near to the demolished Federal Cinema. Our previous try of this porridge was at its former location and by this, you could imagine how long we have not try that porridge. Since it was closed, we drove to Bukit Beruang to check out what are the street food available. While my wife was on chatting with her daughter who is having a retreat Sekeping Serendah, I kept driving until we reached a newly open restaurant. It is the PJ Hokkien Mee or in mandarin 栖云楼PJ碳炒福建面. Some of their signature dishes are : Hokkien Mee Hokkien Bihun Bihun and Kuey Teow Hua Dan Hoo Stir Fried Bihun Guang Fu Yee Mee Steamed Yee Mee Lu Mee Steamed Rice Fried Rice Salted Fish Fried Rice Some of the drinks served are : Ginseng Chrysanthemum Tea Apple & Hawthorn Tea Passion Fruit Jelly Ice Aloe Honey Cardamom Plum W
