Next to Porta De Santiago is the Proclaimation of Independence Memorial. The Proclaimation of Malaya’s independence was made by Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj at Padang Pahlawan or the Warrior’s Field

This memorial houses invaluable exhibits of the country’s struggle leading to the independence. Exhibits include relics, manuscripts, video tapes, films and slides.

09:00 – 17:00 Weekends/Public Holiday & School Holiday
Closed on Monday
