Machap Baru Mid-Autumn Festival at Dewan SRJK (C) MACHAP BARU on Sunday 16 Septwmber 2018. The villagers are celebrating the Mooncake Festival on the same day Malaysians celebrate Malaysia Day.

From China, the Hokkiens brought the Ong Yah deities to Melaka in the 18th century. The descendants of them are Babas who like their ancestors are very religious and obedient. The Babas started the Wangkang Festival 173 years ago at a village called Kandang in 1845. Mr. Ken Lai, the Chairman of the Wangkang prayers and procession sub-committee in 2012 had said, " We have received the recognition from the Heritage Department of Malaysia to list the Wangkang Event as a Living Heritage of Malaysia as it is a unique ceremony held once in a decade not seen in any part of the World outside of Taiwan and Mainland China. A lot of items related to Ong Yah deities are today rare exhibits of the taoism, a Chinese philosophy attributed to Lao Tzu. Construction of the Cultural Museum of Yong Chuan Tian is planned to kick-off this year end and expected to be completed before the Wangkang 2020. These bahulu is baked by my sister-in-law and she has been improving the baking from time to time. She has been making these bahulu since her younger days in Tanjung Minyak.

I am having breakfast on Sunday morning after buying choysam from Bukit Cina pasar. This old coffee shop nyonya laksa, mee rebus, tomyam noodle, mihun kuih and wan tan mee. The coffee brewed by this shop is nice.

I found this in DIY outlet on the 2nd Floor of Aeon Bandaraya. There are many types and sizes with different colors.

Located on Jalan Melaka Raya 4, Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka, this shop is not only famous with the locals but also a go-after restaurant by visitors from other States of Malaysia. Many Singaporeans also hunt for this restaurant. Three hotels are next to this restaurant and they are LA Boss, Iris and Bayu View. This restaurant uses iPad to take orders.

Located opposite of Teo Chew Bak Kut Teh, this hotel is located on Jalan Melaka Raya 4 in Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka. Formerly this hotel was named Comfort Hotel. This hotel just opened recently.

1 hour foot-massage is available here. This foot reflexology shop is opposite Eco-Tree Hotel in Taman Melaka Raya. After a foot-massage, you can sleep well.

Opposite of the road to Portuguese Settlement on the traffic light junction, you will find the kopitiam at a corner. Take the road beside the kopitiam and drive about 100 feet to see the Ujong Pasir Nasi Lemak in front of you.

10.36 am, I am at Bukit Maluri wet-market on Jalan Burung Tiong, 52100 Kuala Lumpur. I come here with my brother and his family after our breakfast at Desa Park City. Like other wet-markets, the exception is this market sell cod fish and salmon.

This Money Plant is from the Farmers Market at Desa Park City. This plant is given free for the first 50 shoppers who spend RM50 from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm. The Farmers Market is there every first Sunday of the month.

Restaurant Choice Wah was founded in 1982 by the Lai's Family and open for business as a small stall in Jinjang.  Soon after in 1983 from a small stall, the restaurant moved to a shop lot and expand the business named Choice Wah Restaurant.  The proprietor who likes to cook, likes to share with his guests good dishes. Providing good service with a fair price is the restaurant's motto. In 1989, the first Choi Wah Restaurant opened in Kepong Baru and began to host marriage banquet, communities activities dining and families dinner. In 1992, the Bandar Sri Damansara restaurant opened. In 2002, the restaurant rented a cinema hall in Jinjang and celebrated the 20th anniversary. In 2009, the restaurant, can accommodate up to 400 seats after renovation. Today, the restaurant can accommodate 3,000 pax on its 3rd floor at one time. The food is great.

When the surface of the tread wear indicator is level with the tread pattern surface, it has reach the minimum legal limit of 1.6mm. Tires should be changed when the tread has worn out to this level.
