Jena’s Mee Rebus overwhelmed me on first plate. Like love at first sight, there wasn’t words I could grab to get picky on her Mee Rebus. I just don’t want to say it’s awesomeness. It is only I can’t resist to share.

My Er Jie encourages me to try her Mee Rebus times and over but hesitations on how a Nyonya possibility to cook my favourite, was depriving me a chance.

Today I see Jena again but her Friday Dish Of The Day - Mee Rebus is not on sale.

Why ? I asked Er Jie while chatting with her new sofa partition by my wife.

Er Jie reveals Jena’s exceptional zest to let her customers try the results of the meticulous cooking process of preparing Serai Rice. (Lemongrass Rice)

To fortify the richness of Serai Rice, hours dedicated on condiments preparations like Acar, Kapitan Curry Chicken and the necessary demanded more kitchen hours than the time needed for Mee Rebus.

Jena’s serves my plate of Serai Rice steamy warm on the table even I desired to take a first sip of her great coffee.

Er Jie and her sisters shared four plates of noodles, the locals called Mee Goreng, Bihun Goreng, Kuih Teow Goreng and Lor Mee.

Because of typing how the taste signals transmission from bite to bites coupled with moderate chewing, the amygdala works to rank and rate.

That mind region which receives taste inputs, also influences reward and feeding verify my plate of Serai Rice and advise me to eat again next time.

Refraining from showing rankings and rating, and to be fair to myself, the least I could show is a 👍
